ASX to rise as S&P 500 nears record and Dow Jones hits record high
The ASX is set to open higher, tracking gains in the NYSE where the Dow Jones Industrial Average reset its record high for its second day in a row and the S&P 500 nears a new record.
Gains in U.S. industrials and healthcare stocks, led by Boeing, United HealthGroup and Merck, helped boost the Dow overnight and set a positive tone for global markets. Oil and gas stocks saw some reversal from its previous session. . .
